Vulture’s Adventures-Pompeii

Vulture, the character in most of my stories,went into a strange capsule.

Shortly after Vulture emerged from the time capsule, the ground was shaking. People held on to walls. No one new what was going on. Vuture did, though.  On Vulture’s time clock it said 11:41 AM/ August 24/0079 AD/Pompeii Italy/. He arrived on the day the volcano Vesuvius was erupting! Sure enough, A flame-like glow appeared. It was nearly as orange as Vulture’s shirt! People were running in various directions. An arena burst open and an army of gladiators were running. But some sank under armor and battle wounds and few escaped from the arena. Ash came down and Vulture jumped back in the capsule. It closed and went back to the present.
